Pyro Beat

Well, today was fun. Went down to Bugis with my friends in the hopes of getting some inspiration for our project. I'll stick to my "camel by the fountain" idea, or maybe I could make the camel puke while eating at that terrible Japanese restaurant (reference; OD entry 'Katsu Gone Bad'). Raw eggs are not meant to be mixed with Katsu Don, not only does it look gross (**RA**; think bukakke), it tastes like turd. Then again, camels might like that.

While we were at Bugis, I finally got to add another arcade game to my "games to play" list, BeatMania. Indeed, quite a fun game. Also tried this bizarre spinning game, I'll just say that its ...er... different. So yeah, BeatMania, great game. If you're interested to know what its like, you can always try VOS (Virtual Orchestra Studio), which is almost as good as BeatMania. Why almost? 'Cause VOS has 7 key columns (as opposed to BeatMania's 6), and the majority of songs (which are actually midi files [yes you can convert them]) are quite fast, but not to worry, its still playable (if you keep trying).

That's it for today's episode. Can't wait for Friday, Lantern/Mooncake festival, one of the very few ocassions when I, Hojyn come out in public dressed up as a ninja. Look out for me, I'll be the one setting everything on fire.
